Possets Yule Retour

Status: Open till 3pm est Wednesday, November, 27th

Adagio For Strings
Rose, soft honey, and pink pepper with white musk and a small amount of saffron.

Agnes Sorel
Toasted sugar and a deep drought of clotted cream which conceals a well of brandy and a tiny amount of 'nard.

Air On A G-String
(JS Bach) Cranberries through smoke with a couple of secret ingredients for a nice background against which to play. Fruity, sweet, smoky, cutting edge.

The All Chocolate Dinner
Bring on the milk and dark chocolate and while you are at it, haul out the rum to wash it all down. Make that a rum toddy, with a nice fat pat of butter in it.

All Sinners Day
The sweet smell of deep fried souls combines with one of the most sophisticated dry and austere vanillas.

All The Sweets
Wintergreen soft mints, a profusion of fruits and a hint of spice. For foody lovers everywhere.

All Those Things Whose Bite Can Bring
Cold and minty eucalyptus with pine and a background of deceptive vanilla. It does have a bite but that is due to a bitter almond/holly berry-like ingredient at it s core. Not your average fir. A very stony heart.

Angels
Rose (the universal odor of sanctity) and sweetest spun sugar, a small amount of the lovely sweet olive fragrance and a kiss of lilac. Just plain old beautiful.

Animal Angel
Ginger and a bit of the patchouli with a lot of coriander and cardamom and a jolt of cumin to give it a sweet/sweaty edge. I have a very animalic musk which wandered in in a very small amount. A hit of teak, and finally a shot of golden musk.

Archangels
Violet and black musk, honey and a pollen like turmeric.

The Babe
Small and beautiful rose buds combined with a lightest lilt of spring flower, the color lightest blue, and and small lovely and indefinable scent of a baby's head which makes you want to nuzzle it.

Bad Habit
The very best frankincense has been aged until it's a very dark, thick and syrupy brew indeed, combine this with a drop or two of galingal, a small amount of potent orris root, and bring the whole thing up with a twist of pink pepper.

Balthazar
100% Natural The absolute real deal, Balthazar contains the best frankincense I have ever had the pleasure of working with, along with the strange and compelling back up of myrrh. The two resins are knit together with a 100% natural golden amber blend which is gorgeous.

Banana Cream Pie
Perfectly tempered by sweet cream (not pseudo "creme") reduced to a custard and sweetened with cane sugar. There were very light and barely detectable spices kissing the mixture, and it was all held in the thinnest and most darkly golden lacy crust I have ever beheld. Pie of the Gods. This blend just about perfectly replicates the experience.

Bauble
Yum, yum sugar plum and cream and a drop of calendula.

Bayeaux Tapestry
Sea salt, sea fog, bruised dog rose leaves, a ferrous note.

Beauvais
A scent of wet stone in the background, the field where it was built and a mournful feel of what happened there. A light dusting of ambient air and a bit of the sweet flag which was strewn about the floor of the old buildings. A beautiful and a bit sad fragrance, stately with a bit of the androgynous about it.

Beethoven's Fifth
Lime as the top note, with bottom notes of: 3 ambers, aged patchouli, two frankincenses, and dry pekoe tea.

Bike
Sharp and masculine but with an easy suave nature. Bike is the sort of fragrance Steve McQueen would wear. Lavender and lime, a good dose of amber to hold it all together. Sportive without being too "toothy", very sexual but clean. Memorable.

Bird's Nest In The Cowl
Very gourmandy with a bitter chocolate, bread pudding with Bavarian cream sauce, and European Gingerbread on top. Mmmmm!

Black Death
Vetiver from Haiti is the thick undermat, building up on a foundation of chypre and black musk. A hint of earth and a purr of black pepper. Galbanum makes for a mournful and stone like note. The smoke of a distant fire and a black musk with an abiding sexuality.

Black River
An almost indestructible and ineluctable blend of resins which is deep incense combined with dark velvety vanilla wood.

Blue Danube
Blue musk, blue berry, angelica.

Bolero
Lilac and crystal musk.

Bottled Happiness
Rich violet leaf and a good dose of iris, a kiss of black musk and mere hint of leather.

Boughs
Every Yuletide collection needs a scent which is pure balsam and spruce, cypress and holly and whatever is decking the halls. Boughs is wonderful for putting on a cotton ball and hiding in the artificial tree. It is all that is lovely in the forest at this time of year, and a treat in a simmer pot for fragrances. A holiday must.

Bridal Chorus
(Wagner) There is a lot of hawthorne here, a very sugary musk, a kiss of what I call a "silly musk" and it's all about silky skin, girly-ness and great fun.

The Burning Xmas Tree
Rich dark arabica Coffee, soft brown leather, balsam fir, and smoke.

Buttermilk Pie
Divinely delicious buttermilk, butter, sugar, and the most perfect pie crust which has ever been made.

Calorie Neutralizer
Light clove and heavy sugar with a great sheet of the most buttery of toffee on top.

Charm
Rose and patchouli, so wonderful together but it is the quality of the rose and patchouli which make all the difference. What kind of rose? What kind of patchouli? The rose here is a very classic peppery kind of hybrid tea lipstick red type. It is ripe and mature and unabashedly rose. The patchouli is a medium dark Indian patchouli which has been aged for about a year and has deepened in it’s more amber like qualities rather than its earthiness.

Cherubim
A delightful white and fluffy coconut enhanced with a backwash of copra (the concentrated dried essence of coconut) flirting with the most beautiful (and non-stinky) jasmine ever.

Chypre d'Hiver
100% Natural Oakmoss, lavender, and orange together make a fabulous natural chypre.

Circle Within A Circle Within A Circle
Clove and vetiver, basil and a light kiss of violet. A strong camphor musk rounds out the blend. Not for the faint of heart.

Clara's Party from the Nutcracker
Black musk, Arabian frankincense, 3 golden ambers, gingerbread, and a goodly shot of black tea.

Complex Sugar
Something sweet, very sweet but yet subtle with a hint of something your tongue and mind just keep on chasing around and never quite catching. To paraphrase Oscar Wilde, it is that which satisfies completely but leaves you craving more. Complex sugar, the height of civilization, no?

Cornucopia
Pomegranate, ginger, a bit of chrysanthemum, cranberries, a bit of cherry syrup and that is cornucopia.

Cranberry Pie
Oooo, tart and puckery but sweet and surprising...cranberry pie is just right if you are a fan of the beautiful red fruit and fancy an adventure into just how far you can go with these deep rouge berries. Spice dances in this mixture, and a wonderfully fruity thick and dark back wall of caramelized juices blend so perfectly with the crust around this one that it is an amazement. Not too too sweet and it is ravishing.

Damned Souls
What is better than staying home with an unlimited supply of hot buttered rum and a huge bag of marshmallows and an easy way to toast them?

Dance of the Hours
Mint, coconut, copra, and Meyer lemon make up The Dance of the Hours.

Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy
Fruit wine with a powerful violet snap to it. Very cold but deeply musky.

Danse Chinoise
Nutcracker Pekoe tea, green tea, incense, and lime leaf.

Delish
Non stop fun with coconut. Here I explore a woodier part of the coconut which makes this a more grown up blend than a simple foodie. There is a true loveliness to a good coconut blend and this one is put together with that staple of winter, the beautiful "incense" balsam pine. there is also a small amount of pineapple which is a sweetener for the balsam with some of the same elements shared by both. a very unusual blend but one which is a true gourmandy.

Diamond Dust
This is a symphony of musks, a white, crystal, yellow and a small amount of lemon which really made me think of an evening in December standing outside and marveling at the diamond dust coming out of the sky.

Dirty Angel
Two types of patchouli, a ginger backup, the classic dirt accord, a small small drop of vetiver, and a waft of galangal.

Divine Clockwork
A cool vanilla mint and warm bitter chocolate become more than just a marriage of great foodie combinations.

Eine Kliene Nacht Musik
Melon, mint, a schmere of marzipan, smoke, resin, fruity, musky, woody, smoky, astringent but with a very smooth edge.

Elegant
Elegant floral wood with a sweet white musk undertone and a very animalic part to it all, in a very sexy way.

Emine
The most beautiful of frankincense, the most subtle and luxurious of white oudes, the most sweet of myrrh (a very special type of golden myrrh), a light golden patchouli, and a drop of styrax.

Empyrean
Neroli blossom from Italy, delight in grapefruit to cut the sweetness, a lashing of vanilla, and a far call of lily of the valley.

The Enormous Rose
Roses and opium, the scent of stony soil. A celestial sort of a rose scent which somehow manages to combine: the earthiness of civet with a calcium fragrance, with a deep and earthy amber.

Faith
Sugar, violet, and tamarind, clove.

Femme Fatale
Two kinds of oudes (a white one and a black one), a dark and zesty grey musk, and a lashing of aged patchouli but not so much that it's characteristic scent overwhelms.

Femme Mechante
This is a variation on the theme of Femme Fatale but Femme Mechante is brighter, with an emphasis on beauty over force. Black cumin seed is thought to be a precious commodity in many parts of the world, and it has a strong but comforting smell that presses a superior nag champa into a lovely zone. There are several other magical ingredients at play here, but we trust you will find it does inspire you to be a bit naughty!

Flaming Angel
Wintergreen, turbanado sugar accord, a proprietary musk I make which I call Musk 31, a very hard apple note, and a backdrop of black oude, and a bit of luan wood. There is a very angry vanilla vibe about Flaming Angel, but it is beautiful.

Flight of the Bumblebee
Erratic green notes of grass and green leaf combine with deep resins of the East making a perfume which is at once daring and comforting. Out of nowhere a violet-like note weaves in and out of the blend, and the heavy patchouli and saffron positively dance.

The Florentine
100% Natural Orris root is part of the symbol for Florence's Iris talisman. Then there is the coffee from everywhere all day long.

Flutter
A small amount of lilac for a snowy out of season luxury, a kiss of carnation and a bit of lemon zest in this blend combine with a crystalline musk which can only be described as sleek like the pelt of a white ermine.

Fondly
Very classical Possety smell, sweet and edible but really a perfume. Vanilla-esque and real easy to wear. Again another twist on that ever most popular smell. Gourmand foody.

The Frenchman
A sweeter note of cedarwood rounds out the introduction to the dark damp earthy ring of labdenum and black oude, barded over with a light float of nigella seed extract.

Frida Kahlo
Carnation, Black Pepper, golden amber, brown amber, a proprietary golden musk.

Frog Princess
A homemade aquatic base with a subtle hint of coconut and mint.

Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire
A 100% Natural starring the incomparable Possets' lavender. This time it is paired with a fabulous sandalwood which would make a pasha swoon.

The Ghost of Xmas Future
Possets took a literal approach to its holiday “cracker” with the gunpowder effect, and inside the brightly colored tube there was a silky raspberry treat and a toy monocle to have fun with.

The Ghost of Xmas Present
One thing I will never forget was the year dad cut down a fabulous balsam pine tree for Xmas. There had been a roaring fire in the fireplace and the stocking had tangerines in them which was the fruit which appeared at Yuletide. Their peels had been warmed by the fire and that smell mingled with the tree scent. It was so pretty I had to make it again for this Yuletide.

Gingerbread Jailhouse
Sweet silky and spicy gingerbread is amped up with more ginger and then smoothed out with a thick coat of light lemony sour cream frosting.

Girl In White
Grapefruit, pink musk, a drop of white oude, a real stunner through its simplicity and harmony.

Girls Love Pumpkin
A bumptious pumpkin dripping with honey smell and a dusting of traditional pumpkin spices. A fall treat and a real classic with just a hint of resin in the background to keep it from getting too too foody.

Hallelujah
A deluxe Black Musk pairs with black oude, grey musk, sandalwood, myrrh, and blonde luan wood.

Havoc
At first it's a sharp and pungent whirl of incense augmented with a backdrop of banana, sandalwood, black carnation, and black musk put it all together into one great and passionate blend.

Hembra
Fennel keeps things light while brown sugar sweetens it up without making it too sweet, a splash of crystal musk, and a slight amount of a silk like fragrance.

Hennin
I see this one as being one of the truest yet prettiest interpretations of the scent of linen (the fabric from which the hennin was made) and a wisp of incense like one would find in church or in the silk imported from China. A touch of galbanum, a whisper of grey musk, combines with a fabric accord which is hard to describe. It's a very intimate perfume, one with a light but persistent dry down and the sort of perfume which delights you after you have forgotten that you put it on, a stray whiff or two will have you thinking, "My goodness, this is a pretty smell!"

Holiday in Oz
Coriander, cumin, turmeric, pineapple, coconut.

Holy Holy Holy
The most fair and golden of my amber, two honeys (one herbal and one sweet) with a soft unburned incense.

Hope
Yellow musk, white oude, chrysanthemum, and a tiny amount of strawberry.

Horhus
Peach nectar and mulled cardamom-laced spice wine, and a great lashing of resinous frankincense brought back from the levant.

Hungarian Rhapsody
Tobacco, pipe smoke curling round, and a burning cozy fire heating the corner.

Hysteria
Sugar, sugar, sugar. Maybe there is a shot of butter somewhere in there and I am suspecting that there is a tot of vanilla (the really good Mexican vanilla for sure).

Joseph
Smooth incense and leather start out the journey. Throw in a melange of spices and a bit of resin and a floor of sweet flag and Joseph is a smooth, spicy and beautiful classic.

Judith Leyster
The lilt of clove-like carnation takes on a drop of mint and a teaspoon of sugar. There is a hint of anise which rises up from it all.

Jupiter
Clove and copra (dried and expressed coconut), grey musk, violet leaf, myrtle, and magic.

La Goulue
A truly wicked treat-getting into the best bourbon, tarting it up with butter and a shot of sugar, then mixing it with coconut milk rather than mere egg nog.

Lipstick on the Eggnog Carton
First there is the very boozy introduction, this slides into a wazzle of nutmeg and cream which pairs oddly with some real basic smelling lipsticky perfume.

Liquid Tinsel
This classic blend sports fir and heaps of sugar, a hint of peppermint. Tinsel brings out the sweetest part of each of the players.

Longest Night
A mildly astringent and ironically awake blend. Lemon without the usual "funky" zest entwines with a harmonious sage and a shot of borage. There is a lot of the black walnut in this, and a whiff of dark musk. It's very slightly green and quite cold. It isn't spicy but it's intriguingly plant-like on one hand, and raw on the other. A dark dark cool and calm scent.

Love
Dragons' Blood, skin musk, golden musk, 2 Oriental ambers, and a silk extract.

Love on my Tongue
Fetching and unusual, a snow and strawberry blend.

Lovechild Cranbaby
Tart cranberry dances merrily with a smooth dulce de leche for a gorgeous pairing of opposites.

Lovechild Lovebaby
Peach shortbread and sweet fruit sauce cascading over the lovely confection.

Lovechild Meltbaby
Cherry, coconut, and rose. What a wonderful combination to which I add a bit of extra secret wonderfulness.

The Lullaby from Hansel & Gretel
The very gingerbread house from the famous scene, filled with cream and red currents.

Luminaria
The most creamy, delightfully mint-kissed, pleasing scent of the Yuletide. A similarity to buttercremes, a real nod to candles, and a shot of cold cold outdoor air. Foody, minty, gourmand.

Madame X3
The Third iteration of Madame X which retains the bees-waxy vanilla for which the Madame is so famous yet builds on it with Dry vanilla and a woody vanilla to give it a sophistication it needs and to keep it from being too heavy. I have inserted the smallest hint of yuzu because there needed to be a balance for the waxy vanilla lest it become too cloying. Polished the whole thing off with a particle of a drop of Haitian vetiver and it was done to perfection.

Maize Pudding
The Native Americans enjoyed corn, and used to make a pudding out of milk, corn, and a dark toasted honey. This was set over the fire and enjoyed as a festival treat.

Mars
A celebration of cedar and fir, laid over with rue, a strong note of myrrh incense, and a zest of citrus to keep the blend from being too ponderous.

Mary
A very very light nuance of flowers combines with a somewhat caramel fragrance and this is bound together with green citrus, and an ingredient I think of a 'pearl'.

Meat Candy
A very wicked concept which sounds too far out BUT I actually did see a bacon and chocolate candy bar for sale at Fresh Market! I noticed the smell and it is ineluctable. Sigh! ***Please note that this product is absolutely meatless, and ok for vegans/vegetarians and anyone who does not like pork products.

Mele Kalikimaka
Really islandy and really pretty and a good dose of peppermint to remind you that no matter how blue the water, there is still a bit of red and green in the mix. Coconut and tropical fruits and flowers, an offering on a "pagan" altar.

Mercury
Rose (red, of course) combined with cinnamon and red musk to bind the fragrance to a stable bond.

Mincemeat
Brandy, citron, candied angelica, molasses, and more.

Mincemeat Pie
Savory good, a strong jolt of brandy, citron, and lemon zest combine with the suave scent of raisins and a secret addition of late summer pears. Put all of that in a flaky buttery crust and you have a divine mincemeat pie which is the perfect finish.

Mirth
There is a zest about the chrysanthemum leaf paired with cinnamon and a kiss of cocoa leaf, a drop of copal.

Mona Lisa
A highly woody scent with red cedar, luan, muhuhu, teak, and artemesia. Added to that are a very dry cocoa (powdery not sweet at all), and a combination of cardamom and coriander. This is an oriental perfume of the dry spice variety combined with wood and maturated to perfection. This fragrance breaks a lot of new ground for combinations of fragrances, and is a thoroughly modern scent in every way.

Moonbux
The true arabica cuppa mocha right under your nose, freshly ground coffee scenting the backdrop, you have added a large amount of cream to the blend, a shot of vanilla, and you have the perfect treat for a cold day.
Foody.

Moonlight Sonata
A soft red raspberry and heavy sugar, topped off with an extra dusting of clove, a heart of white musk to ground it and a fluff of almond to start it all on a charmingly melencholy note.

Nell Gwyn
Pink cedar, cream, Thanksgiving pudding all together.  The "seriousness" and almost bitter wood is sweetened up to a positively jolly state thanks to such rich creamy and sweet asides.

Ornament
An innovative blend of deepest rose and sugar cookies.

Orpiment
Apricot, honey, amber and a light and golden musk unite for a really beautiful and long lasting fragrance based on a precious yet poisonous blend of color and substance.

Osmium
Strong vanilla, refined leather, and a hint of pepper, and a bit of lime.

Pachebel's Canon
Vanilla, orange, and sandalwood are the three main ingredients in this perfume.

Palladio
100% Natural Clary sage, bergamot, Italian lemon, orange, and geranium.

Panic
A high keyed and thrilling blend which takes all the spine-tingling background of spikenard, and puts in a clip of camphor, loads it over with black amber and then frosts it with just enough sweet copal to make it very nice indeed, despite it's obvious powers tending to frenzy.

Pas des Deux
White amber, frankincense (one with is quite feral and one which is very classic), a very light brown musk, a small amount of hawthorne...and now you have a beautiful classic.

Patas de Aragna
Black pepper for piquancy, lemon for zest and deep musk for the deep feelings the spider engenders.

Peppermint Pig
This one isn't really just peppermint at all! I just liked the name. A dusting of cinnamon and clove, a background of fresh cut greens and their bark. This one makes me smile every time I wear it.

Pink Festivus
Raspberry and red fruit play nicely and the intrusion of a smooth myrrh resin seals the scent for a heavenly waft which will lift your spirits and make you irresistible.

Pizza per Colaziione
Another of the wicked foodies, how about a bit of pizza pie for breakfast?  Quite Sicilian and with a bit more spice and spunk than they have (and not alcohol based, either).

Plenary Indulgence
Strong and sweet, the ineffable scent of lilacs combined with a whiff of smoke, knit together with a shot of resin.

Powers
Cinnamon and light cassia start with the tang of cherry and a backdrop of brown musk and a particular hay-amber which is just comforting as well as able to convey the strength of such beings.

Primum Mobile
Lavender (Hidecode and Himalayan)strike an adventurous beginning note. White thyme and Tuscan sage make a perfect picture of the world outside our cozy 21st century biosphere.

Pumpkin Pie
It captures the actual flesh of the fruit and lovingly slides it in place with spices which compliment rather than cover up what it is.

Putti Riot
So feminine with pink and white musks, so dangerous with hawthorn, so seductive with a thick hard coating of sugar shell.

Repose
The sweet smell of freshly baked cookies, a pot of peach marmalade, and the swirl of frankincense just to stick it all together. Just made lovlier by a dusting of Eastern spice powder.

Ribbands
The tea room smelled so delightfully of all things festive and good. Big hit every year and back again in the very same form. Foody, fruity, gourmand.

Ride of the Valkeries
Crystalline musk, a faux ambergris (no whales were harmed or even annoyed to make this), and a shot of witch hazel.

Rose Window
The literal interpretation of "rose" and incorporates the most beautiful of the rose accords I have. Also, there is a rich and comforting blanket of tealike resin and spice notes.

The Russian Dance
Gingerbread, cinnamon, coriander, with pink sugar crystals.

Sacred Smoke
A wonderful new sort of incense with sandalwood, fragrant burning oude, a hiss of clove essence, and a bit of burning green bamboo.

Sahelian Kingdom
Coco butter and African Musk combine to form a particularly refreshing combination, a small amount of chocolate liquor (not at all like the chocolate you are used to...it is a volatile and yet emollient blend).

Santa Fart
Santa Fart-Ho ho ho phfffft! Yep, it's back again from last year. Santa Fart takes the "fart base" and adds a buttload of Christmas cheer. It's a funny fragrance, one that you just can't stop feeling like you have got to giggle when you smell it.

Saturn
Galbanum, myrrh and tansey, a small amount of calendula and a very tiny bit of freesia.

The Sea Of Turning Love
Magnolia and plethora with backdrop of calendula and tuberose confront ambergris and sea spray for a hugely romantic blend perfect for your next grand entrance.

Silver Coconut
Milky coconut and the silver base. (Silver base is a dry, creamy sweet vanilla imo ~Angi)

Silver Gardenias
Gardenia and the silver liquor and a tall flute of the finest champagne. (Silver base is a dry, creamy sweet vanilla imo ~Angi)

Silver Licorice
Blackest licorice and the silver base. (Silver base is a dry, creamy sweet vanilla imo ~Angi)

Silver Orange
The tart kind of orange which benefits from association with the sweetness of the silver base. (Silver base is a dry, creamy sweet vanilla imo ~Angi)

Simper
A blast of cherry, a swagger of banana and a huge splat of bubblegum.

Sin-Sin
If you like licorice, and you like it strong---this is the brew for you.

The Smell of Money
"That smells familiar." What's in it? I can't tell you, it's a Deep Secret. It does smell like money and it lasts, too (unlike money). Unisex and always in fashion. Resinous, dry.

Snow Solstice
You often see coconut used as a cake decoration stand-in for snow. This is what I was thinking when I did this delectable coconut perfume. I loved the way it came together as a whole with just enough minty-sweet to blend delicately with the scent of coconut milk.

Sophisticated
Pepper, capsicum, an extract of black mint, and a thick wash of black musk and gray musk. Strong and sophisticated, no nonsense and well bred.

Spanish Dance
Bitter and sweet, unsweetened liquor of chocolate. The whole is so very very rich there is even a suggestion of wood to it. The soul of chocolate. Uncompromising and very much above the mere candy or foody sort of interpretation. Gloriously dusky.

Spanish Dancer
Almonds are one of the great hallmarks of Spanish cuisine, this is what is the forefront of this perfume, its opener. This is followed by amazing sugared fried pastry, the likes of which will have you huffing your arm!

Splendor
Sophisticated, dry and carrying the scent of silk. Sweet flag from Italy (smelling something of earth and violets), combined with primrose, silk extract, skin musk, a small amount of tagetes, galbanum, and myrrh.

Spy Pie
Done right, there should be nutmeg and true cinnamon in proper proportion and it all must combine in delightful harmony and be surrounded by a crust that has toasted to perfection and brought out all of the true flavor of butter and the flour used to make it.

The Star
Siberian fir combines with peppermint and is topped off with a big grind of black pepper, white pepper and sandalwood.

Starry Night
The lightest and most delicate rose is mixed with a thoroughly calm blue sub-musk and lays down with a grain of vanilla but of the most herbal sort.

Sticky Buns
A great cinnamon and amazing sugar concoction which will tickle your nose and turn you on. (My favorite rendition of cinnamon buns! ~Angi)

The Sun
100% Natural Pink peppercorn, a touch of camphor, jasmine (Mediterranean) are used to give the cheer of the Sun itself. A drop of honey extract, and the whole becomes greater than the sum of the parts.

Syllabub
A smooooth concoction of eggs, milk, cream and a light dusting of lemon zest, fluffed together and eaten with a long handled spoon.

Temptation
A beautiful blend of osmanthus, violet, cream musk, and a bit of a very unusual apple essence.

Thorns and All
The torrid love affair between strong modern tea rose and darkest black pepper. Golden amber joins in to try to smooth things out but just ends up making the mix that much more hot.

Thrones
Several musks (black/gray/white) vying for attention with myrtle and the greener scent of chlorophyll. Into that mix I have put a drop of clover, just because it belonged.

Tryst
A daring chypre made with an intense collection of two separate Italian bergamots which were very difficult to obtain, a very smooth and appealing oak moss which will even win the heart of confirmed oakmoss haters, and a secret 'red' note which I felt had to go into this blend.

Venus
A ferny frill, sweet myrtle combined with a sweet and playful special white musk, a small amount of currant, a dusting of clove, and black cumin seed.

Virtues
A special chypre containing a very light oakmoss (blond oakmoss), is blended with frankincense and a very faint clove hint, small zest of lemon to keep it from being too heavy.

The Walled Garden
Osmanthus (the sweet olive) is a plant that I grow on my windowsill. In the morning I grind fresh coffee beans and the two fragrances combine for a heavenly treat.

Waltz of the Flowers
Tuberose and gardenia dance merrily with Black Coconut and a bit of lime, and lemon zest.

Wassail! Wassail!
Cream, ginger, coriander, and lots of booze!

Wings
100% Natural. Tumeric and saffron which is surprisingly coupled with neroli!

Winter (Mucha)
I was playing around with chypre again. Oakmoss from France, and French lavender, a very smooth amber which is thick and very golden lays the bed for a brilliant and true violet to float on top.

Winter (Vivaldi)
Peppermint (a favorite winter scent), brown musk, a drop of dill, and sassafras.

Winter Solstice
100% Natural The warmth of life protected from the ravages of winter, we all snuggled down for a rest at the longest night of the year. Cozy and almost protective. All natural, unisex, more foody than floral but not over sweet.

Winter Wedding Cake
A yellow cake trimmed in white sugar-butter frosting, and a layer of the most subtle delicate mocha creme was hidden in-between the layers of moist and almost custard like cake.

Woman
Civet, vetiver, aged patchouli.

Xmas in New Orleans
A creamy thick white-flower floral that is paradoxically enough, the essence of winter.

Yule Posset
Cream with a velvety vanilla and a bit of rummy character, this one will have you slurring and smiling before you know it.

Yule Romp
Clementines and fir, just right for the season. Not too "piney" and not too fruity.

1000 Proof Egg Nog
It's like a teaspoon of egg nog in a gallon of whiskey and a lot of spices in there, too. Lighter on the cream and closer to an all out spice mixture.

1812 Overture
Super Musk, a gasp of oude, softest leather, clary sage, and a bit of lime. There is an animalic edge to it but it's more of the white/crystalline sort rather than the brown/furry sort.

1st Sleep
White musk sets the stage for softest rose and light mint.
